The gospel (“good news“) is made out to be so complex with human idea systems. Yet that is not what Jesus came to offer. No human idea systems. No philosophy. No psychology. No social system constructs. Just Him. He is greater than all human thought. The gospel is that He died and gave up His own precious body so that the sheep He calls might live. That He was resurrected on the third day. That those who believe in Him will be resurrected and have eternal life with Him.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
